CODA is an award-winning 2D film animated in 2 years in TV Paint by AND MAPS AND PLANS, a small Dublin-based studio.

 

 

At the helm is Director Alan Holly and Producer, Ciaran Deeny.

 

 

Contributing artists also include (Cartoon Saloon’s) SONG OF THE SEA’S Art Director, Adrien Merigeau and Paper Panther’s Eimhin McNamara.

 

 

On its national premiere, CODA won the DON QUIJOTE (Critics’) PRIZE at the Galway Film Fleadh and on its international premiere, won BEST ANIMATED SHORT FILM at SXSW, 2014.

 

 

CODA tells the story of a lost soul who stumbles drunken through the city.
In a park, Death finds him and shows him many things.

The Ledge End of Phil. (from accounting) is a 2D film, animated in TV Paint, Executive Produced by Paul Young and Directed by Paul O Muiris at Kilkenny’s Oscar-nominated studio, Cartoon Saloon.

 

PHIL was also produced by Pearse Cullinane.

 

 

Contributing artists also include Jose Antonio Cerro (THE ILLUSIONIST) & Vittorio Pirajno (CHICO & RITA) and Cartoon Saloon’s Stefano Scapolan.

 

 

PHIL earned a special mention at the Galway Film Fleadh and was awarded BEST ANIMATION at the Los Angeles Film & Script Festival.

 

 

The Ledge End of Phil. (from accounting) tells the story of Phil, stuck outside looking in.
He is then forced to face the world he’s been ignoring. Now he must take a leap of faith or be trapped forever.
