62 GEORGE STREET welcomes Dublin’s PAPER PANTHER PRODUCTIONS!
62 GEORGE STREET is so thrilled to introduce its newest client, Paper Panther Productions!
In striving to represent the work of artistically-driven, high quality filmmakers & creatives from around the globe — again, we find extraordinary talent in Ireland.
The Dublin-based trio (below from L to R: Carol Freeman, Eimhin McNamara & Padraig Fagan) have combined the art of stop-motion, activism and inspiration to produce great things in & for our community.
Paper Panther creates incredibly organic, rich films with paper (& all sorts of other wonderful everyday items to achieve beautiful puppets and effects), they spearhead auctions and charity events to help alleviate pain and suffering throughout the world (we will soon post more about an art auction with proceeds directly benefitting the Syrian refugees) and they work with children, adults, the elderly and disabled by offering workshops which both teach and inspire.
Together, Padraig & Eimhin created their first film, the Annie-nominated – The Rooster, The Crocodile & The Midnight Sky:
Carol’s film, The Bird & The Whale is in production:
And Padraig’s 2nd directed short, An Gadhar Dubh, is also in production:
Paper Panther (& their work) is amazing!
We are really looking forward to their films, to the guys coming stateside to share some clips as well as their pipeline process, and also offering some stop-motion workshops in the Los Angeles-area.
Welcome aboard, Paper Panther!!
