Founded by animation veteran, Jamie K. Bolio, 62 GEORGE STREET specializes in international outreach & acquisition, creative consultation & curation, global representation & promotion of high-quality, artistically-driven independent animated content.

 

Jamie has played an integral role in the promotional & awards campaigns of 14 Oscar®-nominated animated films. Her clients include Cartoon Saloon, the National Film Board of Canada & GKIDS.

 

62 GEORGE STREET has also partnered with film festivals, studios / professional organizations / training guilds & animation schools curating programs, exhibits, masterclasses, artist tours, & screenings throughout North America & Europe.

 

Jamie sits on pitching & film juries, moderates & participates in industry panels, attends festivals & film markets – & is able to offer professional advice & critical feedback in reviewing films, animatics, scripts & portfolios.

 

As an veteran artist in the field, Jamie is very keen in recognizing specific talent & style as it relates to animation produced around the globe. She helps liaise with artists, studios & distributors as a matchmaker of sorts, helping to recruit talent / projects. She also represents films, studios & creatives worldwide.

With over 20 professional credits in the field, Jamie has worked as an artist on small European animated films & major studio releases in LA.

 

Through travel, networking, outreach & a trusted aesthetic, Jamie has helped vastly expand industry-access to include more visually, narratively & culturally diverse independent films from across the globe.

 

As acting Director of International Outreach & Content Acquisition, Jamie was instrumental in curating a streaming platform showcasing high-quality independent animation, its artists, the pipeline & process of filmmaking – both technical & creative.

 

Jamie also organizes & curates industry programs, screenings, masterclasses, artist tours & art-of exhibits by partnering with studios, animation schools, industry organizations & film festivals in Europe & North America. She sits on pitching & film juries; consults on projects globally; reviews portfolios, scripts, animatics, WIPs & final films. She helps recruit talent for projects, introduces content to distributors – & to the industry at large.

 

Jamie has played an integral role on the promotional / awards campaigns for the following 14 animated films (11 features & 3 shorts) which garnered Oscar®-nominations.
