FILM PR, PROMOTION, CONSULTATION & US REPRESENTATION

 

62 GEORGE STREET is a Film PR, Promotion and Consultation company founded by industry veteran, Jamie Kezlarian Bolio.

 

Jamie first came across the images of THE SECRET OF KELLS walking to one of the studio (62 George Street, Edinburgh UK), where she was working as an artist on Sylvain Chomet’s THE ILLUSIONIST. Upon returning stateside, Jamie contacted Director Tomm Moore and asked if she could help bring this film to the U.S.

 

Jamie has been championing high-quality independent films ever since – with clients including Cartoon Saloon, GKIDS, and the National Film Board of Canada.

 

In 8 years, Jamie has been on the promotional and awards campaign for 10 animated films which have gone on to garner Oscar® nominations: The SECRET OF KELLS, CAT IN PARIS, CHICO & RITA, ERNEST & CELESTINE, THE TALE OF THE PRINCESS KAGUYA, SONG OF THE SEA, WHEN MARNIE WAS THERE, BOY AND THE WORLD, MY LIFE AS A ZUCCHINI – and the NFB’s BLIND VAYSHA.

 

Jamie is also the Director of International Outreach and Content Acquistion for CRAFT, an online resource library showcasing the “art-of” high-quality independent artists and animated films from across the globe.

 

GEORGE STREET SERVICES may include (but is not limited to) consultation, promotional & awards campaigns for feature & short film, scouting, animation portfolio and WIP film reviews & artist/staff recruiting/referrals, and US Representation for studios as well as creatives.

 

Jamie organizes screenings, participates in Q+As, film panels & attends key industry events with or on behalf of overseas filmmakers & creatives.  

 

62 GEORGE STREET is based in both Los Angeles and Amsterdam.

 

Jamie is located in the US during the awards season (September through February) and in Europe during the off-season (March through August). She is often traveling, reviewing work, meeting with filmmakers, attending festivals, visiting schools and studios, and scouting for films.

Since 2009, Jamie has worked with the NY-based distribution company, GKIDS on the independent feature film promotional and award campaigns for THE SECRET OF KELLS (Cartoon Saloon), A CAT IN PARIS (Folimage), CHICO & RITA (Estudio Mariscal/Magic Light Pictures), and ERNEST & CELESTINE (Les Armateurs/La Parti Productions), THE TALE OF THE PRINCESS KAGUYA (Studio Ghibli), SONG OF THE SEA (Cartoon Saloon), WHEN MARNIE WAS THERE (Studio Ghibli), BOY AND THE WORLD (Filme de Papel), MY LIFE AS A ZUCCHINI (Rita Productions) and the National Film Board of Canada’s BLIND VAYSHA – 10 films in 8 years have garnered Oscar nominations.

 

 

 

As an animation veteran, Jamie has worked internationally as an artist in 2D (traditional), 3D (CG), 2D/3D, 2D/live action, 3D/live action, and stop-motion. She travels the globe speaking at industry events, scouting for and reviewing materials, animatics and final films. She participates on film festival juries & judging committees, recruits for projects worldwide and represents European & independent creatives in the US and abroad.

 

 

Jamie is currently co-directing and co-producing three features with Dublin’s Paper Panther Productions.

 

Jamie also serves as the Director of International Outreach and Content Acquisition for CRAFT – itsoncraft.com – and she also sits on the executive board of ASIFA-Hollywood and the board of ASIFA (International). She has also been named ASIFA’s Director of PR & Marketing. She also represents the short films of the National Film Board of Canada during awards season.

 

In addition, Jamie serves as the US Representative for the Oscar®-nominated Irish studio, Cartoon Saloon-US (THE SECRET OF KELLS, SONG OF THE SEA, THE BREADWINNER) and as the US Representative to the board of the European Animation Awards.
